We had our annual HOTT comp at lincombe Barn yesterday & had a good turnout.
Spent a lot of the day sorting through my stock, pricing up & adding new goodies etc in preparation for my next outing – Crusade at Penarth in 2 weeks on Sarurday 28/1/2112. Got a 12 ft slot booked so come & have a look!
Almost there on organizing this years show.
Quite a mix of traders, 16 in all + the B&B & a ‘private traders room’
More info on the club website www.bristolwargaming.co.uk
I’ll be there with as much stock as I can carry!
Not trading at this event but LBWS is helping Michael of Angel Barracks with his first show aimed at 10mm & under figs. I’m co-running the B&B and plan to take my main stock of books, what I have in smaller scales + a few boxes of other goodies [B&B is not restricted to small mini!]
Club is also providing the refreshments & a few games. Well worth a visit. Open 10.00 – 4.00
Here is a link to my e-bay sales.

I tend to use e-bay for things which I’m not sure how to price or for more specialist items.

I’m pleased to say the last 2 events went very well.
My next booked event is Lincombe Barn’s Table Top Sale on Sunday 8/5/11 – well, as the organiser I have to be there so might as well trade!
I may well do another show before the TTS as a trader but sure to go to some to shop!
Meanwhile I hope to stat listing some of my stock here & also link to my sales on e-bay.
The next events Reinforcements will be attending are:-
Barn HOTT Sunday 9/11/2011 – Lincombe Barn Wargames Society annual ‘Hordes of the Thing one day competion’
‘Crusade’ Penarth Saturday 29/1/2011 – South Wales premier show
Please note I cannot now carry all my stock to shows so if you wish me to bring anything [without obligation!] please ask
I have been a keen wargamer & amateur military historian since my teenage years many moons ago.
I will either sell items on commission or buy collections at a fair price & offer them for sale to others.
Also when my local Model Soldier shop ‘Bonapartes’ is offered wargaming items, which is of not of primary interest to them, we make them available to gamers
The idea is not to make money but to provide the means to expand my own collection!
I like to think this is also a green approach in an increasingly consumer driven throw-away society but I don’t suppose manufactures will agree with me!
I hope to expand these pages & update them over the coming months, perhaps with photos.
